WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION?

3 Step paint correction to remove oxidization
Paint correction is using wet sanding, buffing and polishing to remove scratches, swirls and other imperfections from the clear coat. Whether you have obvious scratches and oxidization. Or finer scratches that only appear when the light reflects just right. Paint correction can address both issues and all those in between.
THE 3 STEP PROCESS
1 STEP
1 step paint correction, more often referred to as simply polishing, is best suited when there are only minor defects present. These could vary from soft water spots to fine scratches. This works best for vehicles with paint in good condition. As it does not correct major scratches, but does well with minor fine lines and imperfections.

2 STEP
2 step paint correction uses a more coarse compound in order to address slightly deeper scratches, fine lines and spider webbing. Spider webbing is a network of fine cracks or scratches that appear on the surface of paint. Usually caused by a dried-out clear coat or improper washing techniques. Once the paint has been compounded to address those fine cracks and scratches, it is polished to remove any remaining imperfections or machine marks. Restoring paint to a near 80% flawless finish.

3 STEP
3 step paint correction utilizes a heavy cut compound to remove/reduce deep scratches, paint oxidization, hard water spots, bird dropping marks, and a list of other paint impurities. This service can be used to restore classic vehicles to prime condition, prepare neglected vehicles for sale, or to return your daily driver to its glory days. After addressing major paint flaws with heavy compound, the paint will then be polished to remove remaining fine imperfections and machine marks. The final step is a high speed glaze to bring depth and shine to your vehicle. Leaving a finish better than 95% flawless.
